<p>On behalf of the University of Utah and California State University, Long Beach, we invite you to return to the Mountain West for the Utah/Long Beach Classic held at the University of Utah.&nbsp; The tournament will be held on January 8-9, 2016. From our Olympic ski resorts to the acres of snowshoeing country, Utah is sure to offer you a range of activities. On Friday, January 8, 2016, the Great Salt Lake IE Classic will offer a four-round NFA Lincoln-Douglas tournament and a two-round individual events tournament. The Long Beach Classic will held on January 9th. The LB Classic will feature a four-round NFA Lincoln-Douglas tournament and a two-round individual events tournament.</p> <p>We hope you will join us Thursday, January 7, 2016 from 7-9 p.m. for registration and a tournament reception (with a cash bar for those interested). We have also reserved a block of rooms at the Red Lion Hotel Salt Lake Downtown at the discount rate of&nbsp;<strong>$74 per night up to quad occupancy</strong>.</p> <p><strong>SPECIAL NOTE</strong>: The University of Utah and Texas Tech University will be hosting the Mile High NPDA swing concurrent with the Utah/Long Beach IE Swing on the University of Utah Campus.&nbsp; The schedule has been arranged to allow full-service teams to split their competition between halves (e.g., PARLI/PARLI, IE/PARLI, or IE/IE). PLEASE NOTE: IE competitors wishing to do Parli, must do their IE&rsquo;s in the first half of the IE swing due to scheduling constraints.
