Posted: Wed - Sep 22, 2010 at 9:47 amAs we embark on the remainder of the tournament season, please remember the following to help run a smoother tournament;
- If you have congress entries (and even if you don't!) PLEASE bring a PRESIDING OFFICER! It is a "spot" to State and therefore a legitimate event in itself; Students earn 6 pts a round. ALSO you may have noticed some confusion among the kids and during the round because we did not have any for YFL #1. We do have P.O Instruction sheets in the ballot bins if you would like a copy.
- Please do not disclose scores to students prior to the awards ceremony. We discontinued this practice many years ago.
- PLEASE stay with your students until they have been picked up from or have left the tournament site! Just because they "have a ride coming" does not release you from your legal responsibilities as a coach.
- REMEMBER our current schedule requires the END OF REGISTRATION AT 7:15 A.M., so please plan to be there by 7 a.m. to prevent further tournament delays. If you are delayed by bus or weather, please call so we can adjust accordingly.
- If you are STILL having problems with the tournament registration site, please contact someone to help you and don't forget your event cards!
