<p>Dear Friends,</p> <p>On behalf of the University of Utah and The University of Texas at El Paso, we invite you to return to the Mountain West for the Utah/UTEP Classic held at the University of Utah.&nbsp; The tournament will be held on January 5-6, 2018. From our Olympic ski resorts to the acres of snowshoeing country, Utah is sure to offer you a range of activities. On Friday, January 5, 2018, the Great Salt Lake IE Classic will offer a four-round NFA Lincoln-Douglas tournament and a two-round individual events tournament. The UTEP Classic will be held on January 6th. The UTEP Classic will feature a four-round NFA Lincoln-Douglas tournament and a two-round individual events tournament.</p> <p><strong>NEW IN 2018: </strong>In an effort to help you enjoy Utah&rsquo;s &ldquo;greatest snow on earth,&rdquo; we have identified an opportunity for all tournament attendees to take advantage of the deep discounts on lift passes and equipment rentals offered by the University of Utah so that you can partake in some of Utah&rsquo;s world class skiing opportunities. For approximately $100/person (prices subject to change and based on which ski resort you choose), you can secure a lift pass and full set of ski gear (skis, boots, snow pants and snow jacket). PLEASE NOTE: IE competitors wishing to compete in PARLI, must compete in IE&rsquo;s in the second half (Sat) of the IE swing (and compete in PARLI on Thu/Fri) due to scheduling constraints.
