<p>The Cerritos College Falcon Forensics squad is pleased to invite you to attend the annual Tabor-Venitsky Invitational Speech and Debate Tournament to be held on Friday and Saturday, February 13 and 14, 2015. Once again, this year we will be working in conjunction with an outstanding tab room staff to provide you with an exciting tournament.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;We would also like to invite you to the Southern California LD Championships - a one day NFA-LD and IPDA swing tournament to be held on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Cerritos College. The Championships will offer four rounds of LD competition for your competitors in<strong> </strong>&nbsp;novice and open. We will follow NFA rules the event breaking to appropriate elimination rounds. IPDA will follow Phi Rho Pi rules. Students will go to their rooms before prep starts to strike the topics. During prep time there will be <strong>NO ELECTRONIC OR GROUP\\COACH PREP</strong>. This tournament has no restrictions on eligibility &ndash;all undergraduate students with remaining eligibility are welcome.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The Tabor-Venitsky traditionally provides a competitive preview of the PSCFA Spring Championships, CCCFA State Championship, as well as Phi Rho Pi.</p> <p>We hope you will join us once again. For the Tabor-Venitsky we will offer four rounds of Parliamentary debate breaking to a bronze/gold elimination round format on Friday and three rounds of Individual Events breaking to finals on Saturday. Each day will feature a quick awards ceremony. Students may enter a maximum of two IE events per pattern. We will offer two divisions in parliamentary debate and individual events. Please review page 4 for novice eligibility. <strong><em>The open division in both debate and individual events will be limited to students with remaining CCCFA and/or Phi Rho Pi eligibility ONLY.</em></strong> There will be no coaching or internet usage allowed during preparation time in parliamentary debate.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Please submit your entries on www.forensicstournament.net . The website will be active January 13, 2015. All entries must be submitted by Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at 6:00pm PST. Fees will be assessed on Wednesday February 11, 2015 at 6:00pm. Any adds after that date will be at the tournament director&rsquo;s discretion. However, please email with drops through Friday to assist in paneling.
