WINTER INDIVIDUAL EVENTS TOURNAMENT ENTRY

This tournament is open only to schools in the San Diego Imperial Valley Speech League.

THERE WILL BE A MEETING FOR ALL LEAGUE COACHES DURING THIS TOURNAMENT.

Events: Pattern A: OO, OA, IX, HI, TI, Duo

Pattern B: NX, Imp, Expos, DI, OI, OPP and Congress

Entry Limitations: Each competitor may enter up to four events but may not enter more than two events in a single pattern. Those competing in extemp or congress may not enter another event in that pattern.

Entry Fees: $20 per team in Duo, $10 per Individual Entry. Make checks payable to SDIVSL.

Entry Deadline: Entries must be posted on www.forensicstournament.net by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, January 30. Drops are the only changes allowed after this time (see below)

Drops: Dropped entries will be accepted without charge until Wednesday, February 1 at 3:30 p.m. After that time, the website entry will be locked and fees will be final. After the drop deadline, please email or text your drops to Thomas (call only if necessary). Please continue to text or email in any last minute drops to obviate excessive changes at the beginning of the tournament. When sending drops, be sure to give the speaker’s name, event, and your school clearly.

Judges: Each school is required to bring 1 judge per 7 entries (or part thereof). Schools with not enough judges will be required to drop entries to match their available judges. Required number of judges must be present throughout the entire tournament.
