Tournament Status: Tournament Completed

Welcome to the home page for the 2013 Pi Kappa Delta Nationals tournament hosted by Webster University (MO) on Mar 13-16, 2013 for College students.

Dear Pi Kappa Delta and Forensic Colleagues,

I join the National Council of Pi Kappa Delta in extending this invitation to join us for Pi Kappa Delta’s 100th birthday at its 2013 Biennial Convention and Tournament March 13-16 on the campus of Webster University in St. Louis, MO. I have been working with your national president, Gina Jensen, and our Webster staff, along with the PKD National Council to host the best birthday party any of our PKD members have ever seen. Pi Kapp’s centennial celebration has been taking shape for several years. We are excited the event is finally here!

This year’s tournament will feature the very best of intercollegiate forensics in a full range of individual and team events, including debate and individual events not before offered at a PKD national tournament.   The convention will be highlighted by changes in scheduling, along with other features that will enable our members to celebrate the full benefits of their tournament participation, as well as the celebration of this important moment in PKD’s history. A number of PKD’s Hall of Fame members and past leaders will join several alumni and the current face of the active PKD undergraduate membership for a truly memorable nationals experience. All this will unfold on the beautiful campus of Webster University and the Sheraton Westport Lakeside Chalet.

This invitation outlines details about the tournament and convention. Additional details will be featured and added on the Pi Kappa Delta website. Individuals are encouraged to visit the website at www.pikappadelta.com. Given the significance of this year’s tournament and convention, a number of special events and features will be offered. The website will include updated information and forms for registration, hotel arrangements, and special centennial activities. We also encourage you to “like” the facebook page Pi Kappa Delta Nationals 2013 – Hosted by Webster. Frequent updates and information will be made available on this page as well as on PKD’s website. You can also follow us on Twitter, @PiKappaDelta.

Please note the Wednesday, February 13th deadline for hotel reservations and initial tournament and convention entry. As in the past, a brief period for changes without penalty will be extended but initial entry must be made by the February 13th deadline.

We look forward to seeing you in St. Louis this March 13-16 for what promises to be an amazing biennial and birthday celebration!

Sincerely,

Scott Jensen                                         Gina Jensen
