<p><strong>The Argumentation and Communication Leadership Academy and Maple Elementary School in Fullerton are pleased to announce our spring tournament event: The Mustang Invitational. This Speech and Debate tournament asks students to explore the concept of &ldquo;community&rdquo; through forensics.</strong></p> <p>The tournament will be held at Maple Elementary School on Saturday, March 4.</p> <p>Address: 244 E. Valencia Dr., Fullerton, CA 92832</p> <p>Tournament Theme: The Mustang Invitational Tournament will have both Speech and Debate events. This tournament will feature standard competition events along with unique pattern C events. Our Pattern C events have one round, but multiple judges. Awards are based on performance in one round. &nbsp;&nbsp;All events will be related to the tournament theme of Community. Students can explore &ldquo;community&rdquo; as a whole or different elements of what it means to be a part of a community. Competitors will be judged on standard performance guidelines in addition to how well their performances meet the overall theme of the tournament.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>We will have events for two separate age groups. Elementary will consist of grades 3 through 5 and Middle School will be grades 6 through 8.</p> <p>Registration will open on January 4.</p>
