<p>ACLA at Valadez Forensics Inaugural Invitational Tournament</p>
<p>Greeting Southern California Middle and Elementary Schools</p>
<p>Valadez Middle School Academy has partnered with the Argumentation and Communication Leadership Academy, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, to establish a full service Speech and Debate team. Our first tournament will be held on November 15. This tournament will feature 3 rounds of Lincoln-Douglas and Public Forum debate and 2 rounds of Original Advocacy and Impromptu individual events for middle school. Our elementary school division will feature 3 rounds of congress debate and 2 rounds of impromptu speaking. Students may enter only one debate event and one Individual event for a total of 2 events per student. Middle School (Open) is considered 6-8 grade while Elementary school is 3-5 grades. Students in 6th grade may enter elementary congress or middle school debate, but must enter middle school I.E. events. High school students and adults are eligible to judge at this tournament. </p>
