<p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The Argumentation and Communication Leadership Academy (ACLA) will be hosting the 4th quarter I.E. and debate tournament on Saturday, May 21 at Los Angeles City College.</p> <p><strong>Address:</strong>&nbsp;855 N. Vermont Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90029</p> <p><strong>Parking:&nbsp;</strong>Lots 3 and 4 off of Heliotrope Drive</p> <p>To promote double entry in both I.E. and Debate events and encourage first time debaters, we will be offering a novice division with the April public forum topic. All other debate events will use the NSDA National topics. To be considered novice, you can only have competed in 1 previous debate tournament.</p> <p>Registration will close Thursday, May 19 at 5:00PM</p> <p><strong>Judging:</strong>&nbsp;1 judge for every 2 debate entries and 1 judge for every 6 I.E. entries.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Must be a member of the SCJFL to participate in this tournament.</strong></p> <p><strong>Fees</strong></p> <p>$10 per student &nbsp;<strong>&ndash; Please make checks payable to ACLA</strong>&nbsp;(memo line: Speech and Debate).
